Gynaecology or gynecology (see spelling differences) is the medical practice dealing with the health of the female reproductive system. ... The term means "the science of women". Its counterpart is andrology, which deals with medical issues specific to the male reproductive system.

  1. PCOS:

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a common condition affecting women which can be manifestoed with different symptoms like, menstrual irregularity, anovulatory cycles, subfertility, recurrent miscarriages, excessive hair growth, acne, and metabolic syndrome.

  

 

  1. Menstrual cycle abnormalities:

Regular menstrual cycle can be defined as period occurs every 28 days but range from 21 days to 35 days is acceptable. The menstrual period lasts from four to seven days. There are many abnormalities can be associated with changes in menstrual period frequency, length, amount, or pain.

 

  1. Uterine Leiomyomata:

Uterine Leiomyomata, myoma or fibroids are a common type of noncancerous tumor. Uterine fibroids cad be classified according to its location and characteristics. Most uterine fibroids are asymptomatic, but in another hand some of them can cause symptoms which include heavy menstrual bleeding, back pain, frequent urination and pain during sex.

 

  1. Abnormal uterine bleeding:

10% to 35% of women worldwide may experience abnormal uterine bleeding in their life. Bleeding can occur during menarche (when menstruation begins), perimenopause (the years leading up to menopause), and post-menopausal. Causes of abnormal uterine bleeding can be due hormonal imbalance, structural abnormalities, infectious, precancerous or cancerous, related to other diseases, or medications related.  

 

  1. Uterine cervix abnormalities:

Cervical screening is great tool can be used to evaluate uterine cervix to early diagnosis any of cellular changes which can lead to malignancy in the future. Detecting cervical cancer early with a Pap smear gives woman a great chance to early cure by detecting changes in cervical cells that suggest optional cancer development.

 

  1. Ovarian cysts and masses:

Ovarian cysts, ovarian masses, or adnexal masses are frequently found incidentally. Ovarian cysts can be physiologic or pathological. It can be benign, borderline, or malignant. It can asymptomatic, associated with pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, nausea, vomiting, abdominal bloating, and other nonspecific synptoms.
